Mini Adventure in the Himalayan Kingdom won’t simply offer glimpses of this beautiful country; you will taste a beautiful Nepal filled with sights, sounds, and smells of rich past. A country with scenic splendor, Nepal surprises you in every turn with beauty of the Nepalese landscape, rich culture, and smiling faces.

Orientation in Kathmandu (4 days)

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal where one can find the people from 75 districts. This city is known as the city of temples where people worship of God and Goddesses is a legend and public part of daily life. Spend first week in Kathmandu, a vibrant city with temples and shrines and living Gods. Join guest lectures and learn about culture, religions, and challenges of this tiny Himalayan kingdom. Participate in Nepali language and cultural classes for 4 days. Hang out tourist bazaar in Thamel. And explore temples, monasteries, and cultural site of our capital.

Activities: Guest lectures, Nepal language classes, guided tours of Katmandu’s most famous cultural sites, hiking in outer areas of Kathmandu, yoga, meditation and other spiritual courses.

Village Stay and cultural Immersion (15 days)

Kathmandu does not represent Nepal and Nepali if you go 100 kilo meters far from this place you will arrive in real Nepal. Prepare to experience rural life of Nepal, a unique experience for lifetime. And embrace and welcome by your host family. For the period of living, work in farms, cook Nepalese food with host mother, practicing community accent language, hike in beautiful villages, enjoy local festivals, visiting to youth clubs, experience the peace of Nepalese life, observing Nepali crops harvesting and planting, join local artists and participate in local singing and dancing. Support local community by working community infrastructure renovation projects with local villagers.

Community Development Project

You spend few days as part of a community development project working in a school, health post, youth clubs, mother groups office renovation project, a project sponsored by Community Upliftment Society Nepal to support community of Nepal. By working on these community infrastructures such as school, health post, library, youth clubs renovation project you join a meaningful project, which benefits directly goes for local children. Local people will appreciate your to educational endeavor of their kids. Works includes painting, fixing roofs, plastering, leveling playground, organizing out / indoor tournament, developing garden etc.

Activities: village hiking, local cultural programs (singing and dancing), work on rural farms, Nepal food cooking, Nepali folk song learnig and exploration of local villages, festivals, life, culture, religions

Himalayan Trekking (8 days - Annapuran Trekking Trail) Itinerary & Map

After completion of your village stay, ride a tourist bus, travel with your group to Pokhara, a gateway to Himalaya. Get ready for Himalayan trekking. This special Getaway trek involves 8 days of hiking and staying in tea housed (trek side motels). As you begin our trek, you will marvel at the maze of terraces, carved into the hillsides that make up most of rural Nepal. Once you climb higher, the giant Himalaya ranges dominate the skyline. After few days, your trail winds though a magical forest of giant rhododendron and oak trees - far away from the crowded backpacker’s ‘apple pie’ trail. As a fitting finale to this trek you and your group will make a dawn ascent of Annapurna Base Camp (5113mt) to enjoy one of the most spectacular mountain-scape on Earth. Himalayan trekking is a rewarding endeavor that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature and beautiful landscape.
